Climate
Honduras has, (at least for Wisconsin) pretty weird seasons. It's pretty much hot and humid all year round, perhaps changing 15 F in a year. The temperatures change based on altitude rather then temperature. Most places have the same average high (90 F) and the same low (68 F) The temperatures are lower at a higher altitude and higher at a lower altitude. For example, the mountains tend to get a little warmer in the dry season, but pretty much remain at close to the same temperature no matter what the season. What matters is elevation and whether it's raining or not.
In terms of regions, the Carribean Coast gets the most rain, while the capital, Tegucigalpa, is pretty mild. Since Honduras is tropical, it's seasons are the wet one, and the dry one. In the west and south, the rainy season is from May to November, while in the north and some of the islands, this season is from September to December. And remember, these are very different seasons in a country only the size of Tennesee. Imagine driving in Wisconsin and crossing an invisible line; "It's not raining!" Back across, "Oh, it's raining again."
