All about the Climate...
The seasons of Brazil are almost the opposite as the seasons of United States, which means when the United States is having a warm time (say in August) in Brazil it will be cold, because August is the cold time. (But since Brazil has such different climates from the United States, a Brazilian winter would be nothing like a United States winter.)
Different parts of Brazil have extremely different climates, with some staying at around 70 Degrees F, some dropping to cold temperatures and some remaining hot all year round. This is why they are able to grow the array of different crops that they do.
The cool season in Brazil is from May to September and the warm season is from December to March. The Monsoons of Brazil are from October to May
Most of Brazil gets around 1,000 to 1,500 millimeters of rain every year, and most of that is in the “summer”.
The Amazon portion usually gets closer to 2,000 mm which is sometime 3,000 mm in the Western Amazon and Belem.
